“Sustainability” and “resilience” have been reduced to buzzwords in recent years, which is why economist and environmentalist Amitrajeet A. Batabyal wants people to learn the history and true meanings of these words. Batabyal argues that if more people understand the meaning of sustainability and resilience, there will be a better likelihood of solving climate problems.

Batabyal argues that understanding the history and definition of the terms frequently used in climate discussions will lead to better policies.
