DOWNTOWN — THE BROOKLYN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’S 2024 Not-For-Profit Summit will feature Johnny Celestin, executive director of the Mayor’s Office for Nonprofit Services, as the keynote speaker, the group announced Friday. The free, annual half-day event brings together leaders and innovators from the nonprofit sector to discuss and explore new trends, challenges, and opportunities. This year’s theme, “Stand Out & Thrive: Strategies for Nonprofits to Shine in a Crowded Market,” focuses on equipping nonprofits with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive landscape, the organization said in a release.
Registration is now open for both members and nonmembers for the event, which takes place in Downtown Brooklyn on Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon. See brooklynchamber.com.
