
SUNSET PARK — NYU LANGONE HOSPITAL-BROOKLYN AND NYU LANGONE HEALTH named best in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for the third consecutive year, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual assessment of leading hospitals. NYU Langone climbed two spots to first in pulmonology and lung surgery. The NYU Langone system was recognized as best in New York for cardiology, heart surgery and vascular surgery, ranking second nationally. Other top five rankings that NYU Langone achieved were second in urology (tie) and geriatrics; third in orthopedics; fourth in rehabilitation (tie); fifth in diabetes, endocrinology, gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery.
While U.S. News no longer numerically ranks hospitals, it named NYU Langone one of the top 20 hospitals in the nation. The accolades extend across all NYU Langone hospitals.
