BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — KNOW SOME KIDS who want to help build a cereal box diorama of historic Brooklyn Heights? If so, bring them and an empty cereal box (or two or three) to Le Meraviglie, 108 Montague St. on Sunday, June 30, starting at 10 a.m. The building of the miniature neighborhood will be one of the highlight events taking place at the last Montague Open Streets event of the summer. (The event starts up again in the fall.) Other fun events include face painting, hooping, and grooving to DJ Astra Soul’s beats from 1-4 p.m. Open Streets is presented by the Montague Street BID in partnership with the Brooklyn Heights Association and the NYC Department of Transportation, with support from Councilmember Lincoln Restler.

Montague Open Streets takes place on Montague Street between Clinton and Hicks Streets every Sunday through June 30 and starts up again from Sept. 15 – Oct. 27.
