DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — The Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association (BWBA) held its 2024-25 installation ceremony on Monday evening, June 24. The BWBA installed Hon. Ceceria Edwards, JCS, CPA as president and several officers and directors were sworn in. Several notable figures were also present, including Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), delegates from the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), Assemblymember Latrice Walker (D-55th District) and Anthony Crowell, dean and president of New York Law School. Congressmember Hakeem Jeffries sent a pre-recorded video, as well. Hon. Sylvia Hinds-Radix swore Edwards and the other delegates into office.

“You never know your journey in life or where you’ll end up, so service is important,” said Edwards. “Our theme this year is going to be ‘We are in service, civically engaged in law and leadership in Brooklyn and beyond.’”
