DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — THE DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN Partnership last week announced the unanimous election of Jared Della Valle as chairman of its board of directors, according to a release from the partnership, succeeding Jelena Kovacevic, the dean of NYU Tandon’s School of Engineering. Della Valle is the co-founder of Alloy Development, as well as an eight-year DBP board member. He is also a licensed architect and real estate agent with two decades of experience in local real estate development and sales and as a university professor, having taught at Columbia University, Syracuse University, Washington University, Parsons and Lehigh University.
