CROWN HEIGHTS — THE BROOKLYN CHILDREN’S Museum is set to host a free Juneteenth celebration in Brower Park next week, offering music, storytime, dancing, crafting and more for kids and families. This year’s theme is celebrating “books of freedom,” and is presented in association with the Brower Park Library. The event will feature live musical performances by the Brooklyn United Marching Band and jazz singer Tahira Clayton, as well as presentations by authors Alliah Agostini and Laleña Garcia.

The museum’s Juneteenth party will take place on Wednesday, June 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; admission is free, while food from CG’s Fish and Chips will be available for purchase.
