Stabbing victim involved in fight at Downtown Brooklyn smoke shop

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A DISPUTE TURNED BLOODY Wednesday night, June 5, at Jay and Willoughby streets in Downtown Brooklyn, the Daily News reports. Two customers at the Organic Life convenience store and smoke shop, whom the owner said are regulars, got into a fight outside around 8 p.m. when a third man got involved. One of them stabbed the victim in the neck and face. The victim, whom police had not identified as of press time, was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and was in critical condition. Police were still hunting the other assailants.

The smoke shop owner, who did not provide his name to the press, said, “They come in but they start trouble and I wanted nothing to do with them.”
