NEW YORK CITY — THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE halted trading on dozens of stocks Monday morning — including Berkshire Hathaway and Chipotle — as the exchange investigated a technical issue related to a mechanism designed to prevent stock prices from swinging wildly, CNN reports. Berkshire’s Class A stock (BRK.A) was listed as trading at just $185.10, a price that would represent a loss of 99.97% from the company’s trading price of $627,400 on Friday.

“Something wacky is happening,” Joe Saluzzi, a market structure expert and the author of “Broken Markets,” told CNN.
