
Brooklyn Bar Association, MBBA and Antioch Baptist Church announce community event on Medicaid planning and generational wealth

The Brooklyn Bar Association Access to Justice Committee, in partnership with the Metropolitan Black Bar Association and the Antioch Baptist Church, will host a community event titled “The Intersection of Medicaid Planning & Generational Wealth” on June 7, 2024, from 1 to 2:15 p.m.
The free event aims to inform and educate the public about crucial wealth-saving tactics related to Medicaid, elder law and estate planning.
The program’s objective is to equip individuals with the skills needed to understand and navigate Medicaid eligibility requirements in New York State, pooled income trusts and other Medicaid planning strategies. A panel of distinguished experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide valuable insights.
The event will take place in person at the Brooklyn Bar Association, located at 123 Remsen St., Brooklyn, New York 11201. In-person attendees are encouraged to RSVP by emailing [email protected]. The event is also accessible via Zoom for those who register. Please note that the venue is not wheelchair accessible.
