CITYWIDE — NOTHING TO SEE HERE is the official message from former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s inner circle — even as Cuomo quietly reaches out to politically influential labor leaders and Black churches, the Daily News reports. Many see these moves as a “clear sign” the disgraced governor plans to engineer a comeback, the News speculates. Cuomo was in Brooklyn on May 19, when he delivered “pointed rhetoric” to a majority-Black audience at the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights.

According to his publicity releases, Cuomo was also in Brooklyn in April delivering remarks at God’s Battalion of Prayer Church on Linden Avenue. On Nov. 5, 2023, he addressed congregants at the Christian Cultural Center on Flatlands Avenue.
