CITYWIDE — THE NEWYORK-PRESBYTERIAN HEALTH SYSTEM is opening applications for the 2024 Community Fund for a second year, providing grants to eligible organizations in Brooklyn, Queens and other parts of the metro area. Last year, NewYork-Presbyterian launched the Community Fund with the goal of empowering local community-based organizations, also known as CBOs. Our mission is to help combat environmental and external factors that affect the health outcomes of individuals in our shared communities. The opportunity is available to not-for-profit, religious, or government agencies with a community service mission to empower community-based organizations by enhancing their operational capabilities and extending their impact within the communities they serve. The grants, which range from $75K to $150K annually and are extendable for one additional year, for a maximum of $300K, will be awarded to eligible organizations to support their initiatives, with preference given to programs that present a tangible benefit for residents in the community. The deadline for applications is Sunday, June 9, at 11:59 PM.

Once applications are submitted, eligible organizations and projects will be required to follow NewYork-Presbyterian guidelines when submitting a full proposal. Final selections will be announced and awarded in the fall of 2024. Funds will be dispersed and the grant cycle will begin in January 2025.
