WASHINGTON D.C. – False alarm on reports of shooter: Government staffers walked out of the Russell Senate Office Building, Wednesday. Local authorities issued a shelter-in-place order and began searching the Senate office buildings near the Capitol on Wednesday afternoon, amid reports of an active shooter. It was later declared a false alarm.
