
Candidate Dionne Brown-Jordan Endorsed by Former Congressman Max Rose
Brown-Jordan adds Max Rose to Lineup of Endorsements Including Congressman Hakeem Jeffries

On Wednesday, June 22, District Leader Dionne Brown-Jordan (D-Brooklyn, 46th AD) announced the endorsement of former Congressman Max Rose for her candidacy for Assembly District 46.
“I’ve known Dionne as a longtime community activist who went above and beyond during the COVID pandemic to provide support and assistance to the most vulnerable. That is why I am proud to endorse the candidacy of Dionne Brown-Jordan for the 46th Assembly District,” said Congressman Max Rose.
“I am thrilled to have the endorsement of Congressman Max Rose,” said Dionne Brown-Jordan. “Max is a fearless leader in our community and fought for some of the most critical issues to AD46 when he was in Congress. From transit funding infrastructure to taking guns off our streets, from protecting a woman’s right to reproductive health to protecting seniors, Max knows what it takes to advocate for the community and bring meaningful change. His support is a personal affirmation of our shared commitment to creating a South Brooklyn that can be better for all residents. I’m honored to have his endorsement in our campaign’s growing coalition.”
Rose’s endorsement follows an incredible display of momentum from Dionne Brown-Jordan. Congressman Hakeem Jeffries announced his endorsement for Brown-Jordan on Monday. Other endorsements include Senator Dianne Savino, Councilman Ari Kagan and Former Councilman Mark Treyger.
District Leader Dionne Brown-Jordan is a contender for the 46th AD seat, which covers Coney Island, Sea Gate, and parts of Bath Beach, Bay Ridge, Brighton Beach, Dyker Heights and Gravesend in Brooklyn. Brown-Jordan is a Coney Island, Brooklyn native and lifelong resident. Brown-Jordan served the city as a social worker for nearly 30 years and is the sitting Female State Committeewoman from the 46th District. She serves on Brooklyn’s Community Board 13 and is currently running for Assemblymember of the 46th District, in order to ensure that her neighbors have access to safe and affordable housing, to increase funding for senior centers and programs, to keep our streets safe and our parks clean, and ensure every student has access to a fair and equitable education. Dionne Brown-Jordan is a proud wife and mother.
