MEXICO — Haircut:
Wiggins Nordelus, of Haiti, left, cut his son Samuel’s hair outside of a shelter for migrants, on Monday, in Tijuana. Nordelus waited in Mexico as he hoped to apply for asylum in the US. A federal judge in Louisiana blocked the Biden administration from lifting a public health order used to quickly return migrants at the southern border, including asylum-seekers.

IRAN — Funeral:
On Tuesday, mourners attended the funeral ceremony of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Col. Hassan Sayyad Khodaei, shown in the poster, who was killed on Sunday, in Tehran. Iran’s hard-line President Ebrahim Raisi vowed revenge on Monday over the killing of Khodaei, who was shot at his car by two assailants outside his home in Tehran, a still-mysterious attack on the country’s powerful paramilitary force.
