Jewel thieves smash window on 55th Street
Cops investigate the jewelry store robbery.
Five people with sledgehammers and a pick-axe smashed a jewelry store window on Fifth Avenue and 55th Street and stole merchandise at around 3:15 p.m. on May 2.
The group fled in a black Honda Accord.
