Greenpoint Post Office Renamed for Lentol

The federal Greenpoint post office at 66 Meserole Ave. was officially renamed in honor of former Assemblyman Joseph Lentol, a legendary North Brooklyn political figure for decades.

At official Ceremony Saturday in front of the Greenpoint Y, Nearby on Meserole, were (left to right) Brooklyn Postmaster General John Tortoice, U.S Rep Carolyn Maloney, Hon. Joseph Lentol and U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer.
