While many Brooklyn Heights families headed for Hillside Park for some serious downhill action, the Promenade and the gentle hill leading from Pineapple Street to the Promenade were perfect for younger sledders after Saturday’s epic snowstorm.

While the youngest children sledded on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade after Saturday’s snow, those ready to whoosh down a big hill took to the neighborhood’s go-to sledding park, Hillside Dog Park.

Dozens of kids and their families brought their sleds and coasters to Hillside Dog Park in Brooklyn Heights after Saturday’s big snow.
