North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s powerful sister, Kim Yo Jong, said on Friday that North Korea is willing to resume talks with South Korea if it doesn’t provoke the North with hostile policies and double standards.

SPAIN — Evacuation: Residents left their house as lava continued to flow from an erupted volcano, in La Mancha on the island of La Palma in the Canaries, on Friday. A volcano in Spain’s Canary Islands continued to produce explosions and spew out lava, five days after it erupted. Two rivers of lava continue to slide slowly down the hillside of La Palma on Friday.
