Moments after Italy won the Euro 2020 final in penalty kicks over England, Italian supporters across the globe, including right here in Brooklyn, celebrated the victory.

After the game, 18th Avenue turned into a massive outdoor party with traffic backed up for miles. Thousands of people danced in the streets, draped in Italian flags. Everyone came out to show their support, including popular Italian singer Angelo Venuto.

The festivities started on the corner of 18th Avenue and 70th Street in front of the famed bakery Villabate, which had a large outdoor TV showing the game. The sounds of car horns, fireworks and champagne bottles popping lasted long into the night.
