PAKISTAN — Collision: On Monday, soldiers and volunteers worked at the site of a train collision in the Ghotki district. Two express trains collided in southern Pakistan early on Monday, killing dozens of passengers, authorities said, as rescuers and villagers worked to pull injured people and more bodies from the wreckage.

ALBANIA — Music festival: Virus-free international fan Samella from Belgrade, Serbia danced at Unum Albania’s open-air music festival in Shengjin on Friday. Organizers sold all 10,000 planned tickets with more requests to follow from people around the world trying to forget the virus restrictions and follow non-stop music for five days at the Rana e Hedhun (Thrown Sand) beach, 45 miles northwest of the capital Tirana.

BELGIUM — Hunger strike: Women on a hunger strike rested as they occupied with others the Saint-Jean-Baptiste-au-Beguinage church in Brussels on Monday. Dozens of migrants without official papers, who have been occupying the church since last February with permission of the priest, began a hunger strike on May 23 to draw the attention of authorities to their plight.
