Giant tree crushes car on 62nd Street
A giant tree fell on a car in Sunset Park.
Heavy winds caused a large tree to fall on a car in Sunset Park March 29.
The tree fell on 62nd Street between Second and Third Avenues at 8 p.m., according to FDNY.
Several fire units responded and no injuries were reported. FDNY also notified the NYC Parks Department.
According to CBS New York, residents have been trying to have the tree removed for years.
