She believes that her husband is one of the charred corpses found in a northern Mexico border state on Saturday. The country’s Foreign Ministry said it was collecting DNA samples from a dozen relatives to see if there was a match with any of the bodies.

COLORADO — Taking a moment: Abou Diol held his head by the family picture of his brother Djibril Diol after a news conference by Denver Police at Denver Police Crime Laboratory in Denver, on Wednesday. Denver police arrested three teenagers on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with an August arson fire. That overnight house fire on North Truckee Street killed Djibril Diol, his wife, daughter, sister, and niece.

BOLIVIA — Plea: A health worker held a sign that reads in Spanish: “The white aprons, we’re in mourning” during a protest outside Petrolero Obrajes Hospital in La Paz on Wednesday. Health workers wanted Bolivia’s President Luis Arce to declare a quarantine to reduce the contagion of COVID-19 that has sickened doctors and filled hospitals’ intensive care units.

BRITAIN — Detained: A protester was detained by police during a police operation to clear an HS2 protest camp outside Euston station in London on Thursday. Some protesters against a high-speed rail link between London and northern England were evicted from a park in the capital city early Wednesday after they dug tunnels and set up a makeshift camp.

POLAND — Protest: People protested against new anti-abortion laws, near the ruling Law and Justice party headquarters in Warsaw on Wednesday. The protest came after the country’s top court on Wednesday confirmed its highly divisive ruling that will further tighten the predominantly Catholic nation’s strict anti-abortion law. The Constitutional Tribunal published the justification of its decision, which will take immediate effect.
