Remembering Grand Prospect Hall’s Michael Halkais, the man who’d ‘make your dreams come true’
Brooklynites are mourning yet another iconic local who died from COVID-19.
Michael Halkias, who alongside his wife, Alice, owned the popular and historic Grand Prospect Hall, died on Wednesday, May 6. He was 82, and is survived by his wife and three children.
The Grand Prospect Hall, located at 263 Prospect Ave., is an event space and venue for weddings, concerts, corporate functions, holiday parties, birthday parties and other special events.
