BEAUTY IS TRUTH: Anna Sewell was born in Great Britain 200 years ago today. She published her only book, “Black Beauty,” in 1877. One of the bestselling novels of all time, it describes the abuse and injustices faced by working horses in Victorian England. Sewell died in 1878, not realizing the impact her novel would have.
