Do you have shopping to do for the holidays but can’t bear to give any more money to Amazon honcho Jeff Bezos?

This weekend, head over to the Social Justice Holiday Market at Mayday Space in Bushwick and support local vendors. Most of the vendors are people of color, immigrants, queer, femme, low-income or longtime local residents, according to the Facebook event for the market. It’s the fourth year the Social Justice Holiday Market has been hosted.

There will be hot cider, a DJ and a free photo booth.

Among the vendors is Black Queer Magic, which sells the work of Vanessa, a black queer Jamaican jeweler. Another vendor is Woke and Bespoke, which sells things like earrings and keychains reading “OK Boomer.” The brand promotes what it calls “wokeful consumerism.

The market will be on the third floor of Mayday Space, which is located at 176 St. Nicholas Ave. in Bushwick.

The market will run on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 12-5 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 1-6 p.m. More info here
