Unbeaten at Remsen Street’s Pope Center, the St. Francis Brooklyn men’s basketball team still hasn’t found the winning touch on the road in non-conference action.

The Terriers fell to 0-4 away from Brooklyn Heights Tuesday night in Arkanasas, dropping a 67-56 decision to the Trojans of Little Rock in front of 783 fans at the Jack Stephens Center.

Grad student Unique McLean scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the hard-fourth defensive battle, but the Terriers (2-4) fell for the second time in three games during their participation in the Barclays Center Classic.

Rob Higgins finished with 12 points and Chauncey Hawkins added 12 for SFC, which trailing by nine points at the half and wasn’t able to overtake the Trojans after intermission, failing to follow up on last week’s 122-58 rout of Medgar Evers here at the Pope.

The Terriers were slated to be back in action Saturday in Jersey City, N.J., against the Pelicans of Saint Peter’s.

Over at LIU, the Brooklyn-based Sharks fell to 1-5 overall this year after getting beat 96-66 by No. 12 Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas last Sunday in the Las Vegas Invitational.

Raiquan Clark scored 18 points and fellow senior Jashaun Agosto added 13 for LIU, which got within 12 points of its nationally ranked opponent midway through the second half.

But the Red Raiders (5-0) pulled away behind a game-high 27-point effort from freshman Jahmi’us Ramsely en route to their 51st consecutive non-conference home win.

The Sharks, who have played just once at Downtown’s Steinberg Wellness Center thus far this year, were scheduled to visit the University of North Florida on Thanksgiving Day.

They won’t be back in Brooklyn until Dec. 20, when they host Delaware.

Brooklyn College appeared headed for its first victory of the season Tuesday night in Farmingdale, N.Y., behind a career-high 33-point effort from junior guard Noah Shy, but the Bulldogs were edged 68-67 by Farmingdale State.

Shy, who hit 5-of-6 3-pointers, grabbed 11 rebounds and picked up four steals, helped the Bulldogs (0-4) to a 10-point lead late in the second half, but Ryan Kennedy rose up and drilled a go-ahead 3-pointer with eight seconds to go to deny BC its first victory since last February’s CUNYAC playoffs.

On the ladies’ side, SFC-Brooklyn had its two-game winning streak snapped Tuesday night with an 88-69 loss to NJIT in Newark, N.J.

The Terriers (2-4), coming off back-to-back wins within the friendly confines of their Remsen Street gym, shot just 37 percent while allowing the previously winless Highlanders (1-6) to hit a whopping 59 percent of their attempts from the floor.

Freshman guard Alyssa Fisher had a team-high 14 points to go with four steals and senior guard Jade Johnson and freshman Nevena Dimitrijevic added 13 points apiece for the Terriers, who were headed to Princeton on Sunday for a matinee against the Ivy League’s Tigers.

In other local college sports news, junior transfer student Konstantin Lomeyko and freshman Devin Boodha of the Brooklyn College swim team were both honored this week after leading the Bulldogs past William Patterson last weekend.

Lomeyko was named CUNYAC’s Swimmer of the Week after setting three school records during BC’s wn while Boodha earned his third Rookie of the Week honor from the league after tying the school mark in the 50-year freestyle with a time of 22.58.

The Bulldogs will be back in the pool at Old Westbury on Dec. 11., for a dual meet with the BC women’s team.
