THE LEDE: Good morning! For the special occasion of Gov. Andrew Cuomo releasing the MTA’s five-year capital spending plan this September, The Riders Alliance wants to hear all your complaints about the subway. After compiling New Yorkers’ top gripes for what needs fixing, they’re going to deliver the priorities to the governor for consideration.

~WORK HALTS AFTER EXPLOSION AT LIU BROOKLYN CONSTRUCTION SITE: An explosion at a construction site on LIU’s Downtown Brooklyn campus brought work to a halt on excavation for a high-rise development. No injuries were reported, but a Stop Work Order was issued.
