Police officers are looking for a group of five men who allegedly robbed and assaulted three people in a recent string of incidents in Prospect Park.

In the first occasion on April 25, the group approached a 16-year-old boy near West Lake Drive and West Drive in the park, police say. They allegedly robbed the teenager of $8. He was left unharmed.

Two days later, at the same location in the park, a 13-year-old boy was punched in the face and had his iPhone 7 stolen. One of the assailants was caught on camera during that incident, and the NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

On Thursday, May 2, police say the group struck again, this time on Prospect Park West and Ninth Street in the park. The same group allegedly pushed a 17-year-old boy to the ground, punched him in the face and stole his iPhone 8, Apple MacBook Pro, and Oontz bluetooth speaker.

Police officers are asking that anyone with information regarding these three incidents come forward. The public can submit tips online at the Crime Stoppers website or via Twitter. The NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline number is 1-800-577-8477 for English or 1-888-577-4782 for Spanish.
