Woman struck and killed by 18-wheeler in hit-and-run, driver not charged

A woman crossing the street in Flatbush was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler in a hit-and-run early Wednesday morning, police said.
Linda Douglass, 67, was crossing Flatbush Avenue at Nostrand Avenue around 4:45 a.m. when the blue flatbed tractor trailer slammed into her.
She died at the scene.
