Quentin Tarantino-themed bar opening in Williamsburg
“KillBar,” a theme bar that pays homage to director Quentin Tarantino, is opening on Friday in Williamsburg.
Tarantino’s influence is seen everywhere, from the decor to the food to the names of the drinks. The bar itself resembles the tavern scene in “Inglourious Basterds,” and artist Amar Stewart has created Tarantino-themed paintings, according to amNewYork.
Among the dishes offered are Hateful 8 Wings, referencing Tarantino’s 2015 Western; Death Proof Chili, named after his 2007 horror movie; and Pussy Wagon Tacos, named after a yellow Chevrolet featured in “Kill Bill: Volume 1.” The drinks have names like the Tarantino iced tea and the KillBar Moscow mule. KillBar will also host screenings of Tarantino movies on Mondays.
