Death in East New York ruled as homicide
Police have deemed the death of a 40-year-old woman, found unconscious inside her East New York apartment in October 2018, as a homicide.
Loretta Witherspoon was found in the living room of her fifth-floor apartment of the Linden Houses unconscious and unresponsive.
When the ambulance arrived on the scene Oct. 3, Witherspoon was pronounced dead. No arrest or suspects were named by the police as the investigation is still ongoing.
