Police are asking for the public’s assistance with finding a motorist who careened into an innocent 30-year-old man who was crossing a Bay Ridge street earlier this month.

Cops say that on Dec. 2, as a pedestrian was crossing the street on the corner of 92nd Street and Third Avenue after 10 p.m., a dark-colored sedan made a left turn and crashed into the man.

The driver did not attempt to stop and fled the scene, police said.
