Staten Island duo charged for Brooklyn man’s death
A Staten Island man and woman were arrested on Tuesday for the murder of a Brooklyn man inside a hotel.
Jonathan Julio and Krystal Isolda, both residents of The Hotel Richmond on Central Avenue, are separately charged for the death of 28-year-old James Johnson.
On Dec. 11, police responded to a call from the low-cost hotel, where they found Johnson unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the head.
Johnson, of Crown Heights, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Julio, 37, faces up to 25 years to life in prison for murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges. Isolda, 36, is charged with weapons possession and hindering prosecution.
