The list, according to Curbed, shows a turn away from trendy North Brooklyn in the wake of the looming L-train shutdown, slated to begin in April. The other Brooklyn neighborhoods named on the list are East Flatbush, Crown Heights and Bedford-Stuyvesant.

“[Downtown Brooklyn] attracts residents from Williamsburg and beyond with luxurious new buildings, easy access to several subway lines and prices comparable to the ’Burg,” the report said.

As of October, renter demand for Williamsburg apartments fell by 1 percent at the same time that demand has risen in every other New York neighborhood, Curbed said.
