A woman who threatened to jump off an overpass on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway Sunday morning was rescued by police who found her with her feet dangling over the busy expressway.

The woman climbed over the railing at Congress Street in the Columbia Street Waterfront District around 10:30 a.m., according to the Daily News.

Officers from the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and Technical Assistance Response Unit talked her down from the ledge within 15 minutes, the News reported. Traffic in both directions was stopped while the incident was in progress.
