Amazon packages have been reported missing from Ditmas Park and Kensington for months, according to Bklyner.

In more than half a year, 100-plus packages – Amazon and others – have been reported missing from one building near Cortelyou Road and Stratford Road alone, Bklyner said. The area is served by the Kensington Post Office.

Local resident Eddie Shiomi organized residents and started a tracking chart, showing a concentration of thefts in August. The packages are being stolen from both apartment houses and private homes.

“UPS or USPS or whoever they are, always leave the packages downstairs near the mailboxes,” said Sara Khan, a Ditmas Park resident. “And that is unfair because they get stolen. We don’t have cameras.”
