The deaths of two infants are under investigation after they were both found unconscious and later died at separate hospitals over the weekend, police said.

Early Saturday morning, police were called to the Borinquen Houses on Humboldt Street where 11-day-old Averi McDuffi was unconscious.

Police said they took the baby in their vehicle to Woodhull Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

An hour later, police in Far Rockaway were called to the New Haven Avenue home of infant Prince Johnson who he was also found unconscious and immediately transported to St. John’s Hospital.
