It’s almost time for the 12th annual Taste of Red Hook festival, which will feature offerings from 50 restaurants, breweries, wineries and distilleries in the neighborhood. Among this year’s participants are Buttermilk Channel, Steve’s Authentic Key Lime Pies, Rita, Travel Bar, Popina, Sixpoint Brewery and Fort Defiance, according to Brownstoner.

The event, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Liberty Warehouse at 260 Conover St. from 6 to 9 p.m., will also include a silent auction. In addition, the festival will offer an “Ultimate Tesla Experience,” whose winner will be able to take home a Tesla Model S for 24 hours.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Red Hook Initiative, a community center in Red Hook that serves more than 5,000 residents annually. Last year’s event raised more than $330,000 to support the organization, Brownstoner reported.
