L-Train to run on September weekends

Good news for those waiting uneasily to face the impending L-Train shutdown: there will be no weekend shutdowns throughout September.

Service during the month will remain unchanged — but don’t get too used to it. According to Bushwick Daily, the L will stop service every weekend in October this year and for two weekends in November. In 2019, there will be no service every weekend in February and for most weekends in March.

Enjoy this extended-summer gift from the MTA — it won’t last once the colder months commence.
