The Pig Island pork festival is coming back to Red Hook for its 9th year running next weekend.

The lineup of chefs this year includes Danny Mena and Luis Jimenez from La Loncheria in Bushwick and Matt Fisher from Fletcher’s Brooklyn BBQ in Downtown Brooklyn, among others.

Each chef will serve up their own take on a pork dish (made from an entire local hog) for a panel of celebrity judges, according to Eater.

The festival is scheduled for Sept. 8 at Erie Basin Park. Tickets for attendance, food and drink are $75 apiece.
