2 Chainz joins lineup at free Gowanus music festival barbecue

In a dynamic farewell to summer, 2 Chainz will join the lineup for the second annual Genius IQ/BBQ concert series.

The barbecue-concert hybrid met initial success in its inaugural year last summer, when more than 1,000 concertgoers showed up to the Genius headquarters in Gowanus. Genius, a digital archive of song lyrics and music trivia, is expecting more than 1,500 people this year and hopes to keep the experience intimate.

Sharing the festival stage with 2 Chainz will be Princess Nokia, Jack Harlow, Tierra Whack and more. And true to the barbecue theme, Bareburger and Salt & Bone Smokehouse will do the catering, according to amNewYork. Also on the lineup: an all-day music trivia game.
