Suspect Arrested on Murder Charges in Connection with Sunset Park Stabbing
Police have arrested a man on murder charges after a 25-year-old man was found stabbed to death in Sunset Park.
Authorities have charged 31-year-old Brighton Beach resident Rogelio Vasquez in the Thursday, August 2 murder of 25-year-old Miguel Garcia, also of Brighton Beach.
In the wake of a 911 call, Garcia was discovered around 9:55 a.m. in a residence near Fifth Avenue and 59th Street, lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to his neck, chest and head.
