On July 14, Bensonhurst residents may have noticed a man riding through local streets on a horse. That man was Canadian actor Keanu Reeves, well known for the “Bill and Ted” movies, “Point Break,” “Speed” and “The Matrix.”

According to Getty Images’ Foto, he was in town to shoot scenes for “John Wick 3,” the latest installment in the exploits of an aging but deadly hitman. In the new film, which will be out next May, Wick is on the run, being hunted with a $14 million contract for his assassination. When the film is released, “We’ll find out why John Wick couldn’t just take a cab,” Foto said.
