A Brooklyn man has been arrested on murder and gang assault charges in a triple stabbing that killed a 15-year-old.

Police said Sunday that 25-year-old Jayson Smith has been arrested in the case. It’s not immediately clear whether he has a lawyer who can speak for him, and no telephone number could immediately be found for his Brooklyn address.

Police say the stabbings around 6 a.m. Saturday followed an argument among several people on the corner of Belmont Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard, in the Brownsville neighborhood.
