With the opening of Pier 3, Brooklyn Bridge Park is 90 percent complete, offering a break from the hustle and bustle of the city on the 85-acre post-industrial waterfront.

Since 2010, when the park opened its Piers 1 and 6, Brooklynites and international tourists alike have found it a refuge that offers greenways, playgrounds, blooming gardens, sports fields and many other attractions that may normally seem elusive to city dwellers.
