Two police officers rescued a kitten trapped under a car in Midwood on Monday night. A video clip taken at the scene shows emergency service detectives Keith Connelly and John Ryan coaxing the feline from a space above the car’s muffler around 12:30 p.m., according to the New York Post.

When one of the cops grabbed the cat and freed it from the black sedan, several onlookers cheered. The now-famous cat was given fresh milk and is now doing fine, according to a Twitter post by NYPD Chief of Special Operations Harry Wedin.
