Brooklyn Law School Dean Nicholas Allard honored by Brooklyn Bar Association
The Brooklyn Bar Association invited professors, judges, alumni and other members of the legal community to a reception honoring Nicholas Allard, the president and dean of Brooklyn Law School, that was held at the bar association on Monday.
The event was co-sponsored by BBA, the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association and the Kings County Criminal Bar Association. It was meant as their way to honor the dean and get a chance to say goodbye.
“Despite coming into this community after spending many years in Washington, D.C., Dean Allard became a part of this community and helped integrate the changes in the legal community and the Brooklyn community,” said David Chidekel, president of the BBA. “He made Brooklyn Law even more dynamic, more accomplished. It’s nice to see a mensch, and we’re sorry to see that he’s been called away by others. We’re very happy to have shared these last wonderful years with dean Allard.”
