Police search for missing teen from Sunset Park

Police are searching for a missing teen from the Sunset Park area.

According to the NYPD, 15-year-old Starr Mineo was last seen on Monday, June 11 at around 7:15 a.m. inside a fast food restaurant near Second Avenue and 54^th Street.

Mineo is described as an Hispanic female, 5’8″ and 190 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing an olive shirt and blue jeans, and she had a beige backpack.

Anyone with information in regards to her whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
