An NYPD officer allegedly pulled out a knife on another driver during a roadside altercation on Friday, the Daily News reported. The off-duty officer Emel Lyndl Alegre, 34, and the other driver pulled over and the altercation quickly got physical, police said. The cop then pulled out a blade and ended up with a bruised hand. The other driver refused medical attention. Police arrested Alegre at 2 a.m. at Metropolitan Avenue near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in Williamsburg. Authorities said it wasn’t clear what caused the argument, which started somewhere in Queens’ 108th precinct, NBCNewYork reported. Alegre was charged with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, officials said.
